A payout wallet is an account within the prop firm platform where funded traders receive their profit share before withdrawing to a personal bank account, card, or cryptocurrency address. Instead of every payout going directly to an external destination, the wallet acts as a holding area that lets traders accumulate earnings, review payout history, and manage withdrawals on their own schedule.
When a funded trader reaches a payout milestone and requests a withdrawal, the profit share is transferred to the payout wallet. From there, the trader initiates a withdrawal to their chosen destination, which is typically a bank transfer, debit card payout, or cryptocurrency withdrawal such as a stablecoin transfer. The wallet displays the current balance, pending transactions, and full payout history in one place. Some firms process withdrawals from the wallet within hours; others within a few business days.
